Your booking and account
When you request a stay, the information you provide is used to manage your booking, your guest account and your requests. The website uses an essential, secure session cookie when you sign in. Booking, login, guest profiles and administration pages do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Microsoft Clarity.
Optional website analytics
If you accept analytics, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics on the public website. Analytics cookies help us understand visits and clicks on booking, WhatsApp and email links. This can include device and browser information and an approximate location. We do not send your form entries, email address, booking details or account information as analytics events.
For Google Analytics, we remove query strings and page fragments from the page addresses we send. Journal article visits are grouped under the journal, and referral links are reduced to the external website’s origin.
Heatmaps and session replay
With the same permission, Microsoft Clarity helps us understand how the public website is used through heatmaps and session replay. It can record page layout, clicks, scrolling and other interactions, along with device and browser information. Input values are masked, and the public date-selection controls and status messages are explicitly masked. We do not provide Clarity with names, email addresses, booking references or account identifiers.
Clarity records the actual page address. We therefore keep it off pages with query strings or fragments, and when the referring address contains query information, a fragment, a private account path or an external page path. Journal articles, private pages and design previews stay excluded. Advertising consent remains off for both services; this setup does not use Google Signals or advertising personalization.
Your choice
Analytics stays off until you accept it. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Open Cookie preferences in the footer to change it. Withdrawing consent stops analytics in the current page, removes the site’s Google Analytics and Clarity cookies and refreshes the page when your browser can safely save the new choice.
Services outside this website
WhatsApp, email links and Google reviews take you to other services. Those services have their own privacy practices. Google and Microsoft process analytics information under their own Google privacy policy and Microsoft privacy statement.
